ECS Magazine has written about the lives of a number of Nepalese artists, all of whom complained that their families did not understand their love of art and decidedly dissuaded them from following their passion.

Binita has been lucky all along because the family of her husband Deep Basnet (electronic engineer and passionate golfer), have been wholly supportive too allowing her to set up, a studio above their garage, letting her fill the garden with stray pots and seating arrangements.
